1. DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE
The Department started functioning in 1995 under the sponsorship of the UGC as a vocational course. The first batch of students passed out in 1998. Majority of them were absorbed in Food and Food related Industries and Research Laboratories. Some of them are working as Quality Control Professionals. The course is now being run as an aided course from 2014 onwards. The department has 5 faculty members. Dr. S. Anilkumar , Associate Professor Department of Chemistry is the coordinator.
